On August 29, 2024, JIA participated in a roundtable discussion on “Reform of labor legislation in Kyrgyzstan and the role of employers in this process”. The event was organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) with the support of the Office of Employers' Activities.
The purpose of the roundtable was to activate a dialogue between employers and the state on the necessary reforms of labor legislation in Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of the Ministry of Labour, the Parliamentary Committee on Labour, employers' organizations and large companies took part in the discussion.
