Mentorship is an important element of entrepreneurship development, especially for women and young people starting a business. In a rapidly changing market and highly competitive environment, having an experienced mentor can be a critical success factor.
Currently, UNDP together with the business association @jia.kg is running a mentorship program aimed at supporting women and youth entrepreneurship under the Trade Facilitation Project.
To date, 32 mentors and 66 mentees working in four sectors have participated.
