Competition for students “Zhashyl Tolkun”! 

We invite senior students of universities and professional lyceums of Kyrgyzstan to take part in the competition on the topic of green economy and sustainable development. The project organizes 7-day practical seminars and excursions to advanced enterprises working in the field of ecology.

The aim of the competition:
Raising students' awareness of green economy, developing their practical skills, as well as creating a platform for interaction of educational institutions with business, government agencies and international organizations.

Nominations of the contest:
1. “Zhashyl demilge” (Green Initiative).
2. “Zhashyl Chygarma” (Green Creativity)
3. “Zhashyl fantasy” (Green fantasy)

The main stages of the competition:
- Formation of teams of 5 students and 1 supervisor, with the support of a mentor from the business.
- Conducting seminars and excursions to green enterprises.
- Development of green solutions and projects by the teams.

Prizes:
Interactive whiteboards and other valuable prizes, as well as certificates from sponsors and partners of the project await the winners in each category.

Conditions for participation in the competition in 2024:
Assistance to students for internships with the possibility of further employment in enterprises and organizations

In order to participate in the contest it is necessary until October 4, 2024:
1. Completed application form (google form) prepare the following two documents in advance and attach in form 2 sections.
2. Letter of recommendation for the team and list of participants (with gender equality) on behalf of the management of the institution.
3. motivational letter of the team on the topic: why do we want to participate in the project “Green Wave” and what idea we want to realize? (not less than 500 words)

Preference will be given to teams that already have a green idea on the topic of green economy.
